Mr. Steven Brown has been an Instrumental educator in the Dallas Independent School District for 27 years and has served in writing instrumental curriculum and served in various situations establishing and revitalizing band programs.

A graduate of Florida A&M University and a Specialist Certificate holder in Jazz Arranging and Composition from Berklee College of Music he has performed as a jazz musician touring Europe  and performing on the North Texas jazz Scene as well most recently receiving a Grammy Certificate from his work on Kirk Franklins latest recording “Live Life Love”.

His experience connecting with students and providing the structure to elevate them in their musical goals is well established. From students looking to reinforce the fundamentals to serious players pursuing scholarship opportunities; a plan of study can be designed for your students' personal goals.

Founded by longtime friend and colleague Freddie Jones (Trumpeter for the Dallas Cowboys); He now serves on the board of “Trumpets for Kids”, a non-profit organization dedicated to expanding the musical experience of students across North Texas.
